Biography

Anna Haghgooie is a Managing Director at Valtruis, a Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stow (WCAS) company and an Operating Partner at WCAS. Valtruis, is a unique platform that invests in and partners with disruptive leaders whose mission is to align and transform healthcare through value-based care. Valtruis is investing +$600M into companies and building portfolio support capabilities to help our companies take on and manage risk at scale. Previously, Anna was a Managing Director of the Blue Venture Fund and Sandbox Industries. The Blue Venture Fund is a unique collaboration between BCBS companies, BCBSA, and Sandbox, where she managed over $900M in capital across four funds.

Anna currently serves on the boards of Wayspring, InStride Health, Oncology Care Partners, and TailorCare. She previously served on the boards of Contessa, PWN Health, ExactCare, naviHealth, Change Healthcare, Quilted Health, Somatus, ZeOmega, and SonarMD. Anna earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Anna is a Fellow in the Health Innovators Fellowship at the Aspen Institute and lives in Chicago, IL with her husband and two children.
