Biography

Joe Hammer has over two decades of experience in the financial services and healthcare industries. He leads the Life Science and Healthcare practice for CIBC Innovation Banking. Previously, he was the Managing Director of Silicon Valley Bank’s Life Science and Healthcare Corporate Banking practice, working with middle-market private and public companies across the U.S. Prior to SVB, Joe was the Chief Development Officer at a life sciences subsidiary specializing in business process outsourcing for orphan drug, biopharma, and medical device manufacturers.
